Here you will find how to configure the PPTP VPN protocol in Windows 8. The configuration of the HeadVPN access for Windows 8 is simple. The following instructions are phased in the process of creating a PPTP VPN connection
Open Network and Sharing Center from Control Panel. Then choose Set up a new connection or network.

Choose Connect to a workplace.

Choose Use my Internet Connection (VPN).

Type the name or IP address of a HeadVPN server ( you will find the available servers list under your Client Area ).
Enter HeadVPN as the name of VPN connection in the destination name box (you can name it as you want). Then click Create.

Click on the monitor icon on the bottom right-hand corner.

Right–click on the HeadVPN connection and choose Properties from the menu.

Go to Security tab and on Type of VPN select Point to Point Tunneling Protocol (PPTP) option. Select Allow these protocols and tick as shown on the following screen

Click on the monitor icon on the bottom right-hand corner and find HeadVPN connection. Click Connect.
Type “\” (without quotes) then your HeadVPN VPN username and password and click OK
Type “\” (without quotes) then your HeadVPN VPN username and password and click OK
